Early Access Terms

Secundant is an experimental, non-commercial scheduling service currently offered independently under the Secundant name. It is not currently operated by a registered company. Early Access is intended for a limited group while the product's usefulness, reliability, and future direction are evaluated.

By creating an account, opening a meeting Event, or submitting a booking or availability response, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Notice. Do not use Early Access if you do not agree. You must be at least 18 years old and able to agree to these terms.

Secundant lets account holders create meeting Events, offer possible times, share public links, collect participant availability, confirm meetings, and optionally connect supported calendar services. Early Access is currently provided without a subscription fee.

Accounts may use email and password or an explicitly linked Google account. Keep your credentials secure and use only accounts you are authorized to use. Public Event and guest confirmation links can act as bearer links, so anyone who receives one may be able to access the information available through that link.

You are responsible for the Events you create, the people you invite, and the accuracy and lawfulness of information you provide. Only request information needed to schedule a meeting. Do not place confidential, regulated, or sensitive personal information in titles, descriptions, names, or other free-text fields.

Do not use Secundant to spam or mislead people, impersonate others, collect unrelated personal data, violate another person's rights, distribute unlawful or harmful content, bypass access controls or rate limits, probe private information, disrupt the service, or use automated traffic that burdens Early Access.

Google sign-in and Google Calendar are optional. Calendar access is used only for actions initiated through Secundant. Hosting, database, email, identity, and calendar functions may depend on third-party services, including Netlify, Neon, Resend, and Google. Their availability and separate terms may affect parts of Secundant.

Early Access features, limits, and behavior may change. The service may be interrupted or discontinued, and access may be suspended when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or operation of the service. Reasonable notice will be given when practical, but uninterrupted availability and permanent storage are not guaranteed.

You may stop using Secundant at any time. Account and data deletion requests are handled manually during Early Access. Send requests to privacy@secundant.app. Some limited information may need to remain temporarily in backups, security records, or where required by law.

You retain rights in information you submit. You permit Secundant to process that information only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Early Access service. Secundant's software, branding, and original interface materials remain protected by their applicable intellectual-property rights.

Secundant is provided on an “as available” basis for evaluation and is not intended for emergency, medical, financial, legal, employment, or other regulated workflows. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Secundant is not responsible for indirect losses or decisions made solely in reliance on Early Access. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

These terms may be updated as Secundant changes. The effective date above will be revised when that happens. Material changes will be communicated to Early Access users when practical. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply.

Questions about Early Access, these terms, or privacy requests can be sent to privacy@secundant.app. These terms are governed by applicable law; they do not select a special court or arbitration process for Early Access.
